I tried adding Carousel to my thesis 1.7 using wolf howl’s code. But it doesn’t show up anything.!!! No error messages. No carousel even on the home page or any other page..!!

Believe it or not, I have no idea if my Carousel is increasing page views. To be honest, I don’t see the point of increasing page views.

I feature pictures of high-profile entrepreneurs who came to my site to communicate credibility quickly.

Maybe I’m missing something, but it seems that the page view business is too competitive and too expensive to keep up with. And most victories in that battle come at the expense of user experience.

This is something the blogs have learned over time from the big portals. At AOL, when I was running Netscape, we called it the Dynamic Lead because it rotated and changed. I like Carousel better though. Less of a
mouthfull.

Funny enough, I was talking to people about increasing PV’s yesterday. The other big one that everyone is doing lately is “Flipbooks” and/or breaking up blog posts across multiple pages.
