Google stories about MJ going back over the past five years. It is funny how within hours of his death, MJ took on this mythical status that really was not quite there. He hadn’t toured in the US since the 1980s and had put out four CDs in the past 22 years. One must admit he was eccentric. He was almost more impressive from 1969 up to Thriller than for the 25 years that followed that. Greatest Entertainer That Ever Lived? I think that diminishes some lifelong performers such as James Brown or Sammy Davis Jr. (and others). It was a tragic end to troubled life, but if you look at it, not so unexpected as it appeared.
