The great depression did not lead to WWII. The harsh conditions that Germans were living under following their defeat in WWI (in the 1920's- while the economy was flourishing) is what led to their great resentment and allowed Hitler to ascend to power. And the fact that everyone was sick of fighting after WWI kept the world from challenging the Germans as they stockpiled weaponry.... It had nothing to do with the Great Depression.
