Vince Schlomi aka Vince Offer aka ShamWow Guy Arrested

The Smoking Gun is reporting that ShamWow spokesperson Vince Schlomi was arrested in South Beach last month after an altercation with a prostitute.
The pair met at a nightclub and allegedly Vince paid $1000 for straight sex with her. During which, she bit his tongue and according to Vince “wouldn’t let go”. This occurred around 4am in Miami, Florida. So you know that good judgement was used.
This is a complete shock to us infomercial junkies, pretty sure I’ll need a shamwow for all these tears. Vince, big guy, how could you do it buddy? Stop having a boring life, stop having crazy hookers.

Dude, I was wondering why Hayden asked me about the infamous Stockholm Incident this morning.
This jackass used to be a client of mine and got arrested in Sweden once, as well. If I say more in this forum, I’m sure I’ll be violating some kind of media law. Then again, I could probably sue him for sexual harassment, as well.

Granted, we don’t all use the names on our passport…

boycott all products made by company producing sham wow. the beating of a woman must mean very little to said company. if that were untrue the ads with the woman beater would have been pulled. remember dell fired a spokesman for some weed? seems this is saying weed very bad beating of women okay. boycott , email them. please let companies know we do not support this type of behavior. no action is action. it is showing support to those who will hurt a woman. yes i heard she bit his tongue. could he have beat her less and gotten away? why did she do this? usually the biting of anothers tongue hurtfully is not done without reason.

Really Cat?! Boycott? She was a whore, a woman who has no self respect, a woman who puts the private parts of strangers in her mouth and other openings. Boycotting the ShamWow until Offer’s ads get pulled wont do anything. He’s not a spokesperson for the company. He owns it. He bought the rights to the ShamWow and he’s marketing it himself.

Twizlett, I agree with you entirely. You are also doing a superb job raising your children with morals, something most parents don’t do anymore. I am a fan of your parenting, and in the future will raise my children the same. By the way, I’m 16, and one of the only people in my age group with an actual head on my shoulders. So all you people that think that WHORE deserves something other thank what she got, remember that a 16 year old boy thinks at a more adult and mature level than all of you. I bet that’s something to be proud of.

My oldest son is also 16 and it is good to hear that there are other young people out there that have common sense. You are already demonstrating that you are an independent thinker and not afraid to express that. This is an excellent quality. Stick to your morals and don’t ever be afraid to speak your mind. I know what I say is thought by many but few have the guts to admit it because then they may not fit into the cookie-cutter mold that society has made. I don’t care how others grow up and how they are raised. I don’t care how people fall into what they fall into. There is always a choice, no matter what the scenario is; and nothing should tell anyone otherwise. Just because someone took the easy way out in life instead of never giving up, doesn’t mean we should pity them. We should look down upon them for making the choices they have. There is NEVER only one option, and anyone that narrows themselves to just one deserves any fate they get. That is compassion. Compassion isn’t a forgive all free card. It needs to be earned through self improvements, and if you make no such effort then you are deserving what ever the hell you get. There is no argument, END of Discussion.

Well, thats a lovely opinion.
But I still stand by my statement that compassion isn’t a forgive all free card. If we forgave everyone for everything, what would happen to the world? There would be higher crime rates, and chaos. I’m not saying that he should get away with it, he shouldn’t have beat the shit outta her. But she also shouldn’t have bit his tongue and not let go. I am on nobody’s side. And as to cat’s comment about not buying the product because the company accepts the beating of women,that is just lacking sense. Why would you not buy a product because of something the spokesperson did in their personal life? It in no way endorses a company beleif that beating others is okay. It’s not like the company told him to go do that, he just did it. If you went out and shot someone, should they not buy products from the place you work at? No, because what you did does not reflect the veiws of the company, and it’s something you did, not something they did. How are they going to know it will happen? They can’t. I’m sure they are ashamed of Vince, who wouldn’t be? But we shouldn’t beat on the company for it.

Issue 1: Prostitution — its been argued about for as long as there have been men and women. Most agree the negatives far outnumber the positives. Caveat emptor.
Issue 2: The bitten lip. Who knows? Only two people were there – he said, and she said… The cops did it just right — no citations.
Issue 3: Billy M. Just a wee bit full of himself. We must cut him some slack, however. He’s only 16 and still cooking. You can’t think like an adult until you have been an adult. Give him 5 years supporting himself and we’ll pay 100% attention.

Billy, you are right: compassion is not a get out of jail free card. However, you really ought to learn to show a little understanding for people’s plights. Even the strongest will can be shattered, and though we may have power over our choices, we do not have control of the situations in which we are placed by our environments and the people around us. A ghetto is a difficult place to escape; an abusive family life can leave an individual emotionally scarred or otherwise.
Perhaps you consider yourself unbreakable. Perhaps you consider your position in life favorable. That you could even consider another person “disposable” for any reason other than sadism is truly disgraceful, and for that I pity you. Empathy is one of the defining traits of the human species; I suggest you get some.
