The latest issue of Vogue takes us inside the house of Bill Gates. The article reveals that iPhones and iPods are in fact not allowed in the household, some of the few items with such restrictions.
Thats gotta be rough on the Gates kids. I’m all for family pride (Hell I’m even “A PC”), but to be stuck with a Zune is simply child abuse.

Your iPod/iPhone comment is a little misleading. She just talks about her children not being allowed to have them. Nothing about being checked by the door for suspicious white devices with fruit logos.

His house is sick, very cool technology. The reason he probably has the ban is think if people got a picture of his kids using an Apple ipod or Apple anything for that matter. That would be like Bill Gates using a Macbook pro.

What it all boils down to is not Mr Gates house or the extravagance of the house.
But what a well accomplished man like Bill Gates has given to Humanity! With his great success!
In my opinion it is the goodness of Mr Gates and the kindness in his heart, the overwhelming donations
to world wide charities.
His interest and concern of inefficient education of today’s youth – tomorrows Leaders.
His constant reminders to the “minority” super wealthy, of the shocking state of today’s “majority” many of whom are in sub-standard living conditions, starvation, homeless, no medication, no education! The list is endless!!
