The driver of a white Bentley who led police on a three-hour slow speed chase on Los Angeles freeways has stopped on a street in Universal City north of Hollywood, but has yet to surrender to authorities.

Police had no immediate information on the man’s injuries and would not release his identity, saying only that the driver was wanted for assault with a deadly weapon on his girlfriend.
Officer Karen Smith says the man led police on a low-speed chase on several Southern California freeways Monday night for more than three hours before coming to a stop on a street in Universal City near where the chase began.
About 90 minutes later television news video showed three large police trucks surround the car.
SWAT team members approached with guns pulled, broke the passenger window with a crowbar, and opened the door.
Minutes later a fire department ambulance arrived, the suspect was pulled from the car, put on a gurney and taken away.
