That is sort of depressing. Why did he break into such a psychotic tyraide? Because his DP walked onto the set? Heaven forbid!
It’s sad that any person, celebrity or not, thinks that sort of behavior is appropriate or necessary.

I used to love Christian Bale….in fact, I watched 3:10 to Yuma last night. But what a freakin’ psycho!!! That is some seriously ugly behavior. Its like dude, its a MOVIE you are filming, you’re not fighting for your life or something…

I love this! I dont care if his a diva or what ever, and people calling him vermin are just petty little morons, the guys job is to act, key word JOB! He probably doesn’t want to repeat any scene because of somebody else’s mistake, also unless you’ve been near the set of a big movie, you have noooo idea how tense things can get, especially if you have been up since 5 in the morning doing the same thing! (I’m a camera man so I know!) LOL brilliant!

You know, I don’t know where people get the impression that being an actor is an easy thing. The actor has to not just read their lines and hit their marks, they have to do it in a way that convinces us as an audience that the situation is real. This isn’t a job that any joe schmuck off the street can do. Do we know the backstory to this? No, but it would appear that this wasn’t the first incident. Could Bale have handled this better? Undoubtably, because his tirade has him coming across as a spoiled prima-donna. Does this make him a bad person? Nope, because not a person among us can claim they have never launched off on someone like that before.
We, the listeners, were not there. We don’t know who was having a bad day, who was being unprofessional, who was in the right or was in the wrong. The fact that this has been leaked just shows that this unprofessionalism exists with more than just Mr. Bale

Oh dear … Christian was interrupted on the set whilst acting,have people no conscience, how could they do this to the poor dear ?Chris Get over yourself …your acting ,not curing cancer ,not saving the planet from global warming or coming up with a solution to our econmic woes ,or tackling world poverty and starvation .A C T I N G…ie. pretending to be somone and getting lots and lots of money for it .Take a chill pill Chris ,Apologise and move on .

Actually Wildpony, think about it.. He is on a set filming what, a TERMINATOR movie.. He is known to be a method actor. In part outside of not knowing anything of the day at hand except of this small audiofile he would be totally focused on his role from the word ACTION, His character being well, you know, JOHN CONNER. The man with the fate of the world in his hands. Corny as that sounds for us to be convinced when watching it he has to give it his all. Or would we be waiting for something that ended up being as dire as Robocop 3. Besides, stage hands really should know better.
All in all personally I say cut the man some slack, shiiiit if someone was offering me millions, I would take that stack in a flash. You cant blame that on him now, can you? If that’s anyone’s case for judgement on the man then I would suggest directing it at the industry instead.

seriously I can’t believe the amount of people bitching about this incident. So he lost it, big fucking deal! What a bunch of wimps some of you are “oh he’s swearing, I don’t like him anymore”. The guy is trying to do his fucking job (which isn’t curing cancer but its making movies we all love to watch). So he’s focused and the scene gets fucked up cause someone isn’t doing THEIR job! We have only heard this tiny bit of audio, who knows what has happened before? Perhaps it wasn’t the first time perhaps this was the 10th take and Mr.Bale was getting tired. I don’t know I wasn’t there but I’m not going to stop watching his movies especially T4 cause of this! Hell I watch Tom Cruise movies even though I think scientology is BS!
Here is some personal advice don’t get to know you’re movie/music idols they have a tendency of letting you down cause they’re only human and not the gods we make them out to be!

He is an actor. That is final. NOBODY ever deserves to be spoken to in that way, EVER! He gets paid millions and millions of dollars to be up at 5AM. To do re -do scenes over and over again. There are genuine people out there who would love ot be in his shoes. Who try so hard to crack into that industry. He is just another actor who has taken advantage of his so called ‘FAME’. Grow up Chris. Go to a third world country, see the world. Use some of those dollars that you have saved and put it to some good use. Instead of getting upset about someone walking on your set. Go and witness a real bad day in someone elses eyes.
