There was a product called the Slanket that was essentially the same thing that I heard of first a few years back. I wonder if the Snuggie was inspired by it.

Apparently, the Slanket is made of thicker material.

Maybe someone will combine the Snuggie and the Sham Wow into a single product, warm and dry at the same time. You can also roll around on the floor to absorb spills, or alternatively, skip the bathroom breaks and stay on the couch with your bucket of KFC.
