WSJ Lowers It Wall

September 15th, 2008
By: Sean Percival

The Wall Street Journal is trying to bring me back. I used to read the hard copy paper daily, most of my former jobs kept a subscription for us to enjoy. However I never find myself reading it online, not being a paid subscriber their pay walls send me running for the back button. Now they want to change that, giving me a little more with a side of social.

The site itself hasn’t been revamped since 2002, that’s about 50 years in Internet time. Big machines move slow. The new look will offer an improved profile setup, special free content for non-subscribers, discussion tools and more.

The new site goes live this Tuesday, I’ll give the ol’ girl a second chance.

    Sean-

I also enjoy reading the hard copy of the WSJ. I do find myself skipping quite a few pages, but always some great articles. I have had the online version - but don’t like it near as much…

Would love to get together on my next trip to Los Angeles. You have my email! Shoot me your contact info.
