Yus! I just did it! Finally! You must get Vamp’s health down to zero so he collapses, this can be quickly done by getting headshots which are easiest done with the M4 on burst firing mode with the assault scope. As he is on the ground walk up behind him then crouch. Make sure you have the syringe selected in your inventory and that you are unarmed and crouching whilst behind him. As he stands up HOLD R1 so you get him in an arm lock, after a few moments a triangle symbol will appear, press triangle to use the syringe on him. One thing I would like to know is HOW THE F**K ARE PLAYERS SUPPOSED TO FIND THIS OUT???? MARVELOUS GAME BUT SOME SERIOUS ERRORS HAVE BEEN MADE ABOUT STUFF LIKE THIS, PARTICULARLY WITH BOSSES. Hope this helps!

figured out more cheats today, when on Nomad(Plane during mission briefeing) run into people to get face camo, with the mark 2 or 3 bot thing, also look for extra batteries will let you use the bot or eye more, on the act 4 part i reccomend to pick up the camera you get bonus pictures,

also when fighting the beuties after they are out of their armor wait three minutes and youll go to a weird white place, if you take out the camera theyll pose for you, or you can play music from the ipod and theyll dance.

how do you get the dolls? ive no clue, i randomley got the frog trooper one, but thats it.

Shoot Vamp until he loses health() only when hes on the floor) and get behind him and crouch(do not move and grab) equip the syringe and stun knife, pistol, or nothing, and youll capture him, press triangle quickly and then a movie wiil happen.

i thought i got big boss emblem but didnt, somehow wound up with patriot though, but if the guns all your after look for cheats.

please who goted big boss emblem,say to me be cause i will have some questions from him.oh,looks like nobody can defeat vamp on this site and i ask who goted big boss emblem?to defeat vamp,after you defeat him and he wants to regenerate hisself,go slowly to his back with no weapons and syringe in items,then hold r1 buttun in his back to cqc him(don`t realase r1 button),after that press triangle buttun to use syringe on him and finish job…may he throw you if you go to back of him,it`s cause of you go to his back fast or you need to defeat him more…

hey,anybody can got big boss emblem?it`s ultra expert hard to do!be cause of:
under 5 hours:i am used my best possibilities and just can do it with ultimate speed on 7 hours,if is it was 8 hours,it was more good.it`s the more hardest job.
no kills:when you are fighting alone frogs in act1,if you kill them,it will caunt a kill or in act2 in the car of drebin,if you kill,it will caunt as a kill and many more wheres that it most not caunt as a kill.
no damage:very expert to do.
the boss extreme mode:what i say…
no special items:…..

Its the same for me aswell even with no weapon equipped i cant grab vamp. i just keep throwing him to the ground i go behind him just after i’ve killed him & i cant grab him

The only thing that trying CQC does for me is deliver a punch-punch-kick combo on Vamp. Don’t know if this is a bug or something. I can’t grab him at all. Even with no weapon equiped at all, when he goes down and tries to get up Snake will just do a punch-punch-kick combo and the battle begins all over again…

I’m still stuck on this part…

Everyone: To use the Syringe on Vamp, you must deplete all of his health or psyche which will make him fall to the ground. Make sure the Syringe is equipped. While he’s still on the ground, go up behind him, when he gets up, press the R1 button to grab him(make sure no weapon is currently equipped). As soon as this happens, a Triangle will appear on screen, press it to inject Vamp with the Syringe.

As another commenter stated, Raiden will show up to help you out.

use cqc with a handgun with the syringe in the items box when you grab him hold the r1 and then you’ll hit the triangle button

1. I CANT GRAB HIM (EVEN WHEN HE IS ON THE GROUND)
2.THE SYRINGE IS A “ITEM NOT A WEAPON” (YOU CANT ATTACK WITH IT)
