Had the pleasure of attending BarCampLA this last weekend. What is BarCamp? Here is their definition:Â
“BarCamp is an ad-hoc un-conference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees.”Â
So you get FREE conference put on by people in the trenches of the business and even the casual web 2.0 fanboy (or girl). Attendees give all the presentations which certainly offered an interesting mix of content and people.
Unfortunately I missed the PowerPoint Karaoke :(
